About the position

Are you a commercially driven networker with a passion for technology and international trade? Then this is your chance! As Business Developer at the IHS Group, you are the contact person for customers and partners in the DACH region and Scandinavia. You actively build lasting relationships with distributors, dealers, architects and project developers. Together we ensure that our high-quality fireplaces and flue gas solutions find their way to the European market.

What will you do?

Actively approach and bring in new distributors, dealers and project customers.
Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships in the region.
Advise on our product range and technical specifications.
Identify market trends and needs and translate them into opportunities.
Establish and implement account plans.
Giving product training and demonstrations.
Represent IHS Group at international trade shows and events.
Collaborate with product management, marketing and sales support.

What do we ask?

Completed college education in commercial or technical-commercial field.
Maximum 1-5 years of field sales experience within a technical B2B environment or you are an ambitious starter.
Knowledge of the fireplace or installation industry is a plus.
Affinity with engineering, regulations and European standards (such as EcoDesign).
Fluent in both German and English (verbal and written).
Independent, proactive and results-oriented.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel frequently within Europe.
